The Militant Pacifist is a strong proponent of individual persons possessing as much "defensive technology" (you can read that however you want to) as they desire. The Militant Pacifist is also definitively Christian. Therefore, it was not without (a little) grief that I read John Piper's deficient explanation of why he (personally) doesn't own "defensive technology," and why he advises others not to.You can read his reasoning here:
