One of the Militant Pacifist’s friends always concludes his e-mails with the phrase “under the mercy.” As the Militant Pacifist contemplated this recently, he was reminded of how wonderful the mercy of God is - and how blessed is the person who can in truth write "under the mercy."
If it were not for the mercy of the LORD, where would you be? Thank God for His mercy. Thank Him for the 70 x 7. Thank the LORD – for His mercy endureth forever!
“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD (Lamentations 3:22-26).”
